GROOMING: Eyefill Patches
Not to be confused with LANDFILLS, Eyefill Patches are the current CRAZE in good old ASIA!
During a recent trip to Seoul, South Korea I stumbled upon ALL MASK STORY in downtown MYEONDONG:
I just HAD to take a look inside, and managed to stumble upon a WALL of MEDIHEAL products.
I decided to pick out TWO products with completely different focus points for EYECARE:
E.G.T Essence Gel Eyefill Patch: Hydrolyzed Collagen and Salmon Egg Extract (skin lightener to improve dark circles under your eyes)
N.M.F Aquaring Gel Eyefill Patch: Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Collagen and Ceramide NP (anti-wrinkle eye care)
Was surprised at how AFFORDABLE they were.. One box contains 4 sheets (4 uses) which is great in order to really see the RESULTS..
The above screenshot makes the product look a tad bit expensive, but trust me, it's A LOT CHEAPER when you buy it in Seoul!
Now I did try both of them in ONE AFTERNOON, as I really wanted to see the difference, if any, between both of the masks.
THE VERDICT:
I enjoyed the subtle scent of the EGT Patch, which also had a cooling sensation while it was on however the actual patch had a paper-like feel to it which caused it to dry out after 35-40min.
I liked the silicon feel of the NMF Patch since it was more hydrating and managed to stay hydrated for the entire 35-40min recommended application time.
THE WINNER:
NMF Patch
I honestly loved both, however the feel of the actual patch and its effect (ANTI-WRINKLE) was more of what I was looking for in a eyefill patch. I mean, come one, who doesn't like an anti-ageing product?
